Pushpa 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 49: Allu Arjun Starrer Witnesses Record-Low Earnings
Pushpa 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 49: Allu Arjun’s blockbuster sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, that shattered box office records on its release, has now seen its lowest point on Wednesday after over a month of dominance. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie has earned an estimated ₹1230.05 crore domestically as of Wednesday.
Decline in Earnings
On its 49th day, the film's collection dropped significantly, earning just ₹50 lakh, marking the lowest daily collection since its release. Despite the release of a 20-minute extended cut on January 11, aimed at reviving interest, the movie failed to reignite audience enthusiasm. While the extended version offered a brief spike over the weekend, daily earnings have steadily declined in the seventh week.
Worldwide Collection
The movie’s worldwide earnings reached ₹1736.15 crore till Wednesday, with its domestic collection standing at ₹1229.93 crore (India Net). The film earned ₹270.5 crore from overseas markets, bringing its India Gross total to ₹1465.65 crore.
About the Movie
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2: The Rule stars Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and others. The Telugu action drama continues the saga of Pushpa Raj, a laborer-turned-sandalwood smuggler, as he navigates growing opposition, including that of SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
Although Pushpa 2 had a historic start and captivated audiences worldwide, the film's current trajectory signals the end of its stellar box office run.
